Kayla & Nikhil’s engagement shoot was one of my favourites of 2021 for a number of reasons! - Northcliff Hill’s beautiful view was on display as always, we were treated to a vibrant and long-lasting sunset, and both Kayla & Nikhil brought their best by looking so good in these photos!
I had actually met Kayla & Nikhil the night before at their actual engagement, as I was asked very nicely by Nikhil to hide in the bushes and capture the moment where he finally popped the question to his would-be fiancée. It was quite a feat to compose photos without her noticing either me, or my camera with an enormous zoom lens poking through the foliage!
I'm pleased to say that I remained hidden, got the photos, and was lucky enough to be part of a special moment such as a couple choosing to spend the rest of their lives together!
Our shoot was filled with tonnes of giggles and laughs, and could see that both Kayla & Nikhil were just so excited for the new chapter of their lives starting together… and having too much fun with their photographer too!
